TM.MY

TM.MY, photographer from Mannheim, winner of the “Deutsche Presse-Agentur”/(obs-award) Portrait of the Year Award and runner-up of the international “award of excellence” in Barcelona, is well known in his home country for his prestigious city portraits and the outstanding photographic accompaniment of art and culture. Internationally renowned artists trust his ability to accentuate their character, as do renowned companies that present themselves to the public with his support.

Another anchor of his work is nature and travel photography, whereby his focus here is not on entertainment and awakening longings for dream destinations, but exclusively on the artistic form of representation. His tool is an infrared camera. TM.MY does not show blue skies, sunsets and the variety of colours of flora and fauna. He reduces everything to black and white, which creates a special drama with extremely contrasting lines, forms and contours. His stylistic device is the reduction to the essential, through which, now that the whole complex is no longer distracting the viewer, something new and previously unknown is perceived.

RW.HARD

RW.HARD, graphic designer, digital media artist and musician from Heidelberg is well known in his area for his uncommon art and way of creative thinking. He uses effects with digital media to create arts of different types. By combining new technologies in his works he creates media for different industries.

Another anchor of his work is music and video. He focus on ambient sounds and playing didgeridoo. Fascinated by converting real instrument sounds like the didgeridoo into electronic rhythms and his music has a great variety from dreaming soundscapes to experimental songs.

They are working together for years on many projects. By combining their different point of view they are a creative team.
